Futouris signs Glasgow Declaration
Tatjana PetersFutouris has been a signatory to the "Glasgow Declaration on Climate Action in Tourism" since July 2022 and is committed to supporting our member companies and the entire tourism industry in achieving the climate targets. We are doing this, for example, as part of our new industry project "Climate-conscious travel".
Active climate protection is the goal of Futouris
Actively implementing climate protection in tourism and working together towards climate neutrality in the industry - that is currently our most important goal! Futouris members set the course for this back in 2020 with our position paper on climate protection in tourism.
Since the beginning of this year, we have been fully focused on implementing our industry project "Climate-conscious travel".
"Achieving more together" has been the motto of Futouris since its foundation - this applies in particular to the topic of climate protection. That is why we have been a proud signatory of the "Glasgow Declaration on Climate Action in Tourism" since July 2022.
Futouris is committed to supporting members and the industry in achieving climate targets
The Glasgow Declaration aims to unite all players in the tourism industry who stand for active climate action. Signatories commit to halving their emissions by 2030 and achieving net zero emissions as quickly as possible (before 2050). To this end, they develop climate protection plans and report regularly on their progress.
We at Futouris e.V. have signed the Glasgow Declaration in our role as a supporting organization and have thus committed ourselves to supporting our member companies and the entire tourism industry in achieving the climate targets. We do this through joint projects such as "Klimabewusst reisen".
