Futouris is the sustainability initiative of the German-speaking tourism industry. We are convinced that tourism is only sustainable if it enables all those involved to earn a decent living while at the same time using natural and socio-cultural resources responsibly and preserving them for future generations.
This is the principle that guides our actions: together with our members and partners, we develop and implement innovative, transferable solutions that strengthen destinations, preserve habitats and make the tourism industry more sustainable and resilient, step by step.
In consultation with the Board of Directors, the team manages the association’s business, coordinates the projects and is the point of contact for members, project partners and the press.
