Green Travel Transformation Final Conference – April 19th, 2018

With the development of a uniform label for sustainable travel products and its integration into the ‘Bistro Portal’ advice and offer comparison tool and the first tour operator catalogues, the ‘Green Travel Transformation’ project has paved the way for more resource-efficient and socially responsible travel. For the first time, sustainably certified hotel offers are widely visible and bookable! The logo was developed as part of a project funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research by the project partners Leuphana University Lüneburg, Futouris e.V., travel bridge, Planet4People and Fraunhofer Umsicht. The German Travel Association is also a partner in this project, as are the tour operators Thomas Cook, DER Touristik, Gebeco, Studiosus and the travel agencies of DER Touristik and Lufthansa City Center.

On April 19th 2018, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the Green Travel Transformation final conference will take place at the Fraunhofer Forum Berlin to mark the end of the project. Participation is free of charge.
